Sources:
(1) His obituary says he died on February 7, 1907. His death certificate says February 8. Not sure what his tombstone says 
but maybe February 9. 
(2) Margaret is still married to James Clinton Slaton at the time of the 1870 Census in Saline Co., IL. Henry and Margaret 
Erickson are man and wife in the 1880 Census of San Francisco, CA. The 1900 Census of Manhattan, NY says Henry and 
Margaret were married 30 years. That seems be streching things since Margaret and Joseph married in 
1874. 
(3) 1850 Census, Wilson Co., TN (Margaret Berdine head of household) - age 5, TN. 1870 Census, Saline Co., IL (Jas. Slaton) 
- age 23 TN. 1880 Census San Francisco (Henry Erickson) - age 28, KY. 1900 Census Manhattan, NY (Henry Earaskon) - born 
Jan 1849, TN. And 1910 Census San Francisco (Margaret Earickson) - age 50, TN. From the 1850 Census in Wilson Co., TN, 
we can guess Margaret was around 3-5 years old (if she actually wasn't 5 as that census says). So we guess she must have 
been born around January of 1846, not much later. The latest might be January of 
1847.
