(1) Ann Messecar said John Vigneau Tillou was apprenticed in 1706 (recorded on October 8, 1707) in NYC at age 15. So he must 
have been born around 1691 somewhere in England. 
(2) The parents were both still alive at the baptism of their daughter Anne Tillou on Aug. 23, 1741 at the French Church of 
New York.
