Sources:
(1) The will of Elizabeth Vigneau, the widow of John Vigneau, dated May 20, 1709, mentions her daughter "Elizabeth, widow of 
Vincent Tillou." It was proved on Sept. 20, 1709. This comes from Baird, v. 2, p. 17 
footnotes. 
(2) Someone has put his birth date as "before March 19, 1689," but I doubt that is possible. No source was given. The 
baptism date seems to be March 19, 1698 in Rye, England. 
(3) Vincent must have died between when his son Vincent was baptized on Oct. 14, 1722 at the Reformed Dutch Church of New 
York and when he was not mentioned in the will of his aunt Susannah Bridon on November 10, 
1724. 
(4) Ann Messecar said John Vigneau Tillou was apprenticed in 1706 (recorded on October 8, 1707) in NYC at age 15. So he must 
have been born around 1691 somewhere in England. 
(5) Her birth date is noted in her baptism information in the French Church of New York Baptisms: "Née le dernier de 
Septembre denier." I am guessing that means September 30. 
(6) His birth date is noted in his baptism information in the French Church of New York Baptisms: "Est né le 21 aoust 
dernier."
