Paul Brace lived 1880 in Montgomery City, Montgomery County and 1900-1910 in Jefferson City, Cole County, Missouri. In 1910, Paul was employed as a stenographer for a lawyer's office. he reported that in 17 years of marriage his wife had borne 2 children, both then living with them.

Paul Brace, a former resident of Jefferson City, died Saturday in Tulsa, Okla., it has been learned here. Brace was 78 at the time of his death. He came here in 1890 from St. Louis and was a member of the social set at the turn of the century. When his father, Theodore Brace, was elevated to the Supreme Court, he became his clerk. He served two terms with his father and then under a number of other judges in the same capacity. Brace retired and went to live in Oklahoma, first at Muskogee, and then Tulsa. Besides his wife, Elrena Bodine Brace, his survivors are: two sons, Theodore, Wichita, Kan., and Bethel, Tulsa; and two sisters. Mrs. Alec Weber. Washington, D.C., and Mrs. I. M. Lee, Kansas City.

Word was received here today that Mrs. Paul Brace, 82, a former resident of this city, died Thursday in a hospital at Tulsa. Funeral services probably will be held Saturday at Tulsa. Mrs. Brace was a daughter of the late Dr. John Rector Bodine and Frances Bethel Bodine. Her late husband was a son of Judge Brace, one time member of the supreme court. She is survived by two sons, Theodore Brace, Wichita, and Bethel Brace, Tulsa; one grandchild and one great-child. A nephew, J. Stapleton Bodine, lives at 930 Moreau drive.
Children: Theodore Rector (1894), Frances Bethel (31 Oct 1906).
