Notes for: Mark (Marck) Bodine

He was killed in a lumber camp.

Living with his parents in 1860, Mark was recorded as 7 years old. In 1865 he was listed with his parents in the Minnesota state census for Freeborn County, but ages were not recorded. In 1870, he appears as Marck Bodine, age 14, still living with his parents in Freeborn County, but thereafter there is no further record. It is said that he was killed in a lumber camp and if so, this event occured between the censuses of 1870 and 1880.
