Notes for: Victoria Maria Bodine

She was not in the 1870 Census.

Her name is not certain.

I found this info at the Bodine Family Genealogy Forum. It does not necessarily have to do with this Victoria Bodine, but it might. I have no evidence one way or the other.

Here's the message, "Don't know if this'll help-I'm holding a copy of a death certificate dated 1929 belonging to ROSA BELL. The certificate states her mother's maiden name as VICTORIA JUNE BODINE-birthplace Missouri. Victoria Bodine married John R. Bell who would be my childrens' great, great, great grandparents. I've only touched upon researching, still trying..." This was from a Mrs. Flynn. It is message 360.

One message board has this person as Maria Victoria Bodine who became Sister Anna Louise. She was born 1854 and died 1939.

From Ronny Bodine:

She was Victoria, age 9 in 1860. She does not appear in the 1865 state census, but there is a child named Maria, who also appears in 1870 aged 15. Since no child is named Maria in 1860, it is assumed here that she was Victoria Maria or Maria Victoria. As there is no record of a marriage for her under either name in Minnesota and as she appears in no subsequent record it is believed she died sometime between the 1870 and 1880 censuses.
