From the Kentucky Death Certificate of Hellen Bell Bodine, never married, born 27 July 1869 in Logan Co., Kentucky, daughter of Charles William & Mary Catherine (Whitescarver) Bodine; died 3 Oct 1952 in Lewisburg, Logan County; buried in Jarrett Cemetery. Mrs. Eugene Sadler of Lewisburg, informant.

Miss Helen Bell Bodine, 83, route 4, Russellville, died last Friday at the home of a sister, Mrs. Eugene Sadler, route 1, Lewisburg. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday at Hargroeder Funeral Home in Lewisburg with burial in Garrett cemetery at Epley Station. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles William Bodine. In addition to Mrs. Sadler, surviving is another sister, Mrs. J. C. Marshall, Madison, Tenn., and two brothers, W. E. Bodine, Yellow Spring, Ohio, and Vernon Bodine, Dayton, Ohio. Miss Bodine was a retired school teacher and was a native of Logan county. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Guy Hall of Russellville. She had been a member of the Mount Pleasant Baptist church. Pallbearers were Earl Bodine, Leslie Bodine and Hutchin Bodine, all of Dayton, Ohio, Lyle Marshall of Nashville, and Jim Welborn and John Welborn of Lewisburg.
