Notes for: James McCoy Godbey

James was named after Bishop James Henry McCoy (b. Blount Co., AL Aug 6, 1868/69 and died in 1919 in Birmingham, AL) who was ordained in 1910 by Willaim Wallace Duncan (ordained in 1886). He was a bishop in Texas.

Here are a couple of pictures of James Godbey. We're not sure when they were taken, but possibly around 1960. The bottom picture shows his mother Sarah Elizabeth (Tipton) Godbey.
