In 1900, he appears as Adolf Bodin, a grocery clerk in North St. Paul, Ramsey County, living with his wife Louise. His birth was recorded as June 1874 and that of Louise as Nov 1875. Their deaths were recorded in Minnesota as Boden. In 1910, he appears as Rudolph Boden, a stock clerk with the American Can Co. in St. Paul. He reported that in 10 years of marriage his wife had borne 3 children of whom 2 then lived, both with them. On 12 Sept 1918, Adolph Boden registered for the World War 1 draft in St. Paul, Ramsey County. He reported he was born 26 Oct 1873 and Louise Maria Boden was his next of kin. In 1920, he worked as foreman of a wholesale grocery in St. Paul and 1930 he worked for a furniture company.
