From Monroe County, Missouri Marriage Records:
R. D. Woods AND Marg. Bodine were married 2 April 1863 by P. Duncan, Minister of the Gospel.

In 1870, Richard and Margaret Woods lived in Loutre Township, Audrain County, Missouri where Richard worked as a school teacher. The family cannot be located in 1880, but in that year, their daughter Ella, age 10, lived with her aunt and uncle, Amanda and Sebastian Birket and her grandmother, Margaret Bodine, in Paris, Monroe County. In 1900, Margaret Woods, age 61 and widowed, lived with her son-in-law and daughter, William L. and Bessie W. Reid in Monroe, Monroe County. Margaret Woods was buried in Monroe County, Missouri. See her Missouri death certificate, no. 1920-34047.

Children: Archie (1864), Bessie (June 1865), Ella Bodine (1870).
