MARRIAGE 1:

The following article was found in a scrapbook - it was originally published in an Indianapolis area newspaper: Nuptial Vows Unite Miss Snyder, R. B. Moore The Meridian Street Methodist Chruch was the setting for the marriage yesterday of Miss Frances Baker Snyder and Richard Banks Moore. The Rev. Frank Templin officiated at the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Thomas Horner of Pinecrest Drive. Her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Bernard Moore, 440 Springmill Lane. Mrs. Eugene McIntire, matron of honor, wore a princess ballerin a dress of aquamarine cyrstalette. A yellow dress was chosen for the bridesmaid, Mrs. James E. Moore. They wore matching velvet headpieces and carried yellow and bronze chrysanthemums. The bride's ballet gown was fashioned of white embroidered organdy and accented by an antique lace headpiece and vail. She carried lilies and white roses as she entered with her father. James E. Moore was his brother's best man. Guests were seated by Pvt. Jackson L. Snyder, as brother of the bride, stationed at Camp Gordon, Georgia, Francis Hughes and Maurice McGrath. After the wedding reception in the Indianapolis Athletic Club, the couple left for a trip to Pennsylvania. The bride attended Butler University and is a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. She is a graduate of Methodist Hospital School of Nursing. Her husband is a graduate of Butler and a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity.
