The surprise wedding of Miss Marjorie McKay and Mr. Howard Snyder, Hanover College freshmen, was announced today. The marriage ceremony was performed last Tuesday, June 1st (sic), by Rev. Gilchrist, pastor of the Presbyterian church of that place. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred McKay, east Main street, and was graduated from Madison high school with the class of 1931. She is a charming girl and a favorite in social circles. The groom's home is at Warsaw, Indiana. Since attending Hanover College he has made many friends in this community and is a popular young man. Mr. and Mrs. Snyder will spend a few days with the bride's parents after which they plan a wedding trip. Many friends join in wishing them a long and happy married life.

Announcement was made today of the marriage Wednesday of Miss Marjorie McKay, of this city, to Mr. Howard M.(sic) Snyder of Warsaw, Indiana. The wedding took place at Scottsburg, Wednesday, with the Rev. Gilchrist, a Presbyterian minister, officiating. Both Mr. and Mrs. Snyder were freshmen at Hanover College, Mrs. Snyder having graduated from the Madison high school with the class of 1931. Mr. Snyder is a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity and Mrs. Snyder is a pledge to the Alpha Delta Pi sorority.
