Notes for: Elizabeth Davis Bodine
These dates may not be correct. The source of the tombstone dates was a little hard to figure out. They do, however, match what RB sent me.

In 1900, Elizabeth Bodine was a student at Bryn Mawr College, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and in 1920 was living with her brother Joseph in Trenton. She never married.

Miss Elizabeth Davis Bodine, who lived with her sister-in-law, Mrs. Joseph L. Bodine of 608 Crown Street, Morrisville, died there Tuesday night. Miss Bodine was born in Trenton, daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Bodine. She was a granddaughter of the late Daniel B. Bodine, former mayor of Trenton. In 1962, the Trenton College Club named its annual Fellowship Grant in honor of Miss Bodine. She was a charter member, past president and had served on various committees of the club. Miss Bodine was a graduate of the Old State Model School and Bryn Mawr College in the Class of 1902. Miss Bodine started her career as a teacher in the Old Rand Preparatory School. Later she taught at Junior High No. 3 and Trenton High School. Miss Bodine's retirement came about the time of World War II. She became director of the newly organized Officers Club on West State street. Later she joined the staff of the Trenton library where she served 15 years. Miss Bodine was a member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church where for many years she directed the Girls' Friendly Society. She also volunteered as an assistant at the G. F. S. Camp "Holiday House," at Island Heights for several Summers. Miss Bodine's community interest included the YWCA, the old Trent Chapter, DAR, the Trenton Garden Club, Old Barracks and Trenton House Associations. Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in St. Michael's Episcopal Church with Rev. George Boardman officiating. Interment will be in Mercer Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Contributions may be sent to the Trenton College Club and St. Michael's Guild.
