Notes for: James Vincent Branvell Bodine

This man was living in Mexia, Texas in the 1970's when Jim and Jean Bodine paid him a visit. He was retired from the railroad and had never married. He said that he was curious as to how another of the Bodine clan might look.

I had his middle name as Branvell, but Ronny Bodine said the 1930 Census clearly lists him as Manvell Bodine, age 9.

From Ronny Bodine:

He was Manvell Bodine, age 9, living April 1930 with his parents. His amended Texas Birth Certificate filed in 1977 gave his name as James Vincent Branvell Bodine, born Ponder, Denton County on 20 July 1921.
