Archie Bodine was buried in the Bodine family plot with his parents in Salt Lake City Cemetery, Utah. Archie registered for the World War I draft on 5 June 1918 in Salt Lake City. He stated he was single and employed as a soda dispenser and claimed he was disabled with a stiff hip.

SALT LAKE, July 14.--Ten years ago Archie Dee Bodine, 23, son of William P. Bodine, disappeared from his home. A fruitless search followed. The youth was given up for lost. Today his body will arrive in Salt Lake from Santa Monica, Cal., where he was killed in an automobile accident July 7, his father was informed. [Note: The date of death on his grave marker reads Sept. 7, 1930.]
