Notes for: Floyd B. Bodine
He died in his late teens. By tradition passed down in the family, he is said to have been very hot during mid-summer and, while in that condition, jumped into an icy, spring-fed creek. It is said that he suffered from "brain fever" because of this. He never recovered. He died in Terrell a few months prior to the death of his mother. His Texas death certificate, no. 1911-16064 gives his cause of death as acute delerious mania. He was buried in the North Texas Insane Asylum Cemetery.
