Notes for: Mary Ellen Owsley

I'm not sure, but the 1880 Census may give her parents' birth states as KY. I found a Mary Donley in that census, but I'm not sure it is this Mary Donley.

Mary Ellen Owsley, born 26 February 1826 in Hardin County, Kentucky; died 16 September 1864. She married Asa C. Bryan 03 February 1842 in Marion County, Missouri; born 15 September 1820 in Kentucky; died 04 August 1891.

Notes for Mary Ellen Owsley:
Asa Bryan was living 1870 in Memphis, Scotland County, Missouri and 1880 in Jackson, Clark County, Missouri, engaged in farming. In 1880, as a widower, his three youngest sons were living with him.

The following children are named by HBO (p. 134) and in "Supplement to the Curd Family in America," by Thomas H. S. Curd and Frank D. Fuller (Roanoke, VA, 1981), p. 70.

Children: Eliza B. (18 Jan 1845), Martha D. (14 Aug 1848), Lewis (1858), John Ebb (1 May 1860), Henry D. (14 Oct 1863).
