Notes for: Elizabeth Bodine Owsley
In one place, MBP gives Elizabeth's middle name as "Bodine." This is the last branch with a definite Bodine name among its members. This is not to say, however, that those named below do not include children by Catherine Bodine. The evidence is simply not available to prove it.

Elizabeth Bodine Owsley, born 24 July 1818 in Hardin County, Kentucky; died 12 February 1866 in Canton, Lewis County, Missouri. She married (1) Octavius Augustus Miller 14 April 1837 in Lewis County, Missouri; died Btn. 1843 - 1848. She married (2) James Monroe Sutton 17 October 1848 in Lewis County, Missouri; born abt 1807 in Kentucky; died Aft. June 1880 in Canton, Lewis County, Missouri.
Notes for Elizabeth Bodine Owsley:
Elizabeth Sutton was buried in Oak Bluff Cemetery, Canton, Lewis County. James Sutton gave his occupation in 1850 as merchant, farmer in 1860 and telegraph operator in 1870. By 1870, James was married to his 2nd wife, also named Elizabeth and was still living in Canton in 1880, aged 73, again engaged as a farmer.
