Walter William Owsley, born 12 April 1808 in Lincoln County, Kentucky; died 1887 in Pulaski County, Kentucky. He married (1) Martha Ann Hays 17 September 1827 in Pulaski County, Kentucky; born 29 December 1811; died 29 August 1839 in Pulaski County, Kentucky. He married (2) Isabelle Ann Pennington 22 September 1841 in Lincoln County, Kentucky; born 06 May 1815 in Lincoln County, Kentucky; died 27 June 1889 in Lincoln County, Kentucky.

Notes for Walter William Owsley:
Dr. Walter Owsley and his 1st wife, Martha, were buried in Pisgah Graveyard, Pulaski County, Kentucky. Walter Owsley was educated in Lincoln County, attended medical lectures at Transylvania University and practiced medicine in Pulaski County where he was residing in 1850. He returned to Lincoln County in 1853, continued to practice medicine and was living there in 1870, owner of a farm valued at $24,000. In 1880, he was still a farmer in Lincoln County. He was married 2ndly to Isabelle (Ibby) Ann, daughter of Ephraim and Elizabeth (Vardeman) Pennington. Isabelle was buried in Buffalo Springs Cemetery, Lincoln County.
