Celia Bodine, beloved sister, aunt and friend, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2003, following a series of illnesses.

She was born in Salt Lake City on March 13, 1941, to Harold S. Bodine and Marian Stuhff Bodine Hirschi. Celia completed her education with a master's degree from the University of Utah and served for nearly 30 years as a junior high choral teacher and librarian.

Celia was a fine musician and was highly skilled in vocal performance and in directing choral Celia groups. Her students performed with excellence under her direction. She was a member of several performing groups, including the Mormon Youth Chorus. She was also a trained dental assistant.

Celia was a great sister, a caring aunt, a loyal friend and a kind neighbor. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church, serving with love and distinction in various callings, particularly as director of the Yale 2nd Ward choir.

Celia was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her siblings, Jay Bodine (Carol), Ft. Collins, CO., and Cyndy Staheli (Don), Bountiful, UT. She loved her nine nieces and nephews and their families and they will miss her dearly.
