Jennifer Bodine of Buffalo, NY passed away on March 24, 2020. She was a devoted mother to her three children Bobby, Kaitlyn, and Nikolas; and a treasured grandmother to her two grandchildren, Aubree and Maze. She is also survived by her loving parents, Gertraud (late Frank) Mergle (nee Halleck) and Gary Bodine, as well as her two brothers, Jeffrey (Jessica) Bodine and Gary Bodine. Jennifer was a kind person with a big heart. Even when she didn't have anything, she would always make sure she did something special for her kids for important occasions. She was a homebody who, above all else, loved to spend time with her family. She encouraged and supported her kids to accomplish more than she herself did and be the best they could be. One of the proudest moments in her life was watching her older kids, Bobby and Kaitlyn, graduate high school. She also treasured and looked forward to taking walks with her youngest son, Nikolas. Some of Jennifer's favorite hobbies included watching horror movies and playing with her cats. Halloween was Jennifer's favorite holiday, and she loved taking her kids trick-or-treating and looking at all the great costumes everyone came up with. Jennifer was a warm and loving person and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Due to concerns for the health and safety of Jennifer's family and friends, a memorial service will be announced at a later date. In order to allow everyone to pay their respects and condolences, we encourage everyone to post their favorite memories of Jennifer or messages to her family here at www.LakesideFuneralHome.com. A link to a commemorative song is included below - "I'm Already There" by Lonestar. Jennifer loved country music. May this song remind you that the little precious moments we share with our loved ones last forever in our hearts and all around us, every precious day.
