Notes for: Veronica ("Veron") Walker

Veronica had two children: Ida Mae and Ralph. Ida had two kids: Michael (Mike) Mitchell (married an Irene) and a black child. Family does not know what became of that baby.

Veronica, Ida and Ralph are in the household of Susan (sic?) Walker in the 1930 Census of Charlevoix, MI. The name there is actually Jackson on the census, but somebody scratched it out and wrote in "Susan." I think they meant to put Theresa since she is listed as the mother of Irene, John, Jerry and Clara in that census. "Susan" is a widow. And Veronica is listed as married but the husband is not there. So her husband must have still been alive and working or living somewhere else.
