Miss Marie Georgia Ladie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sanford William Ladie became the bride of Milton Joseph Beaudine, son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Joseph Beaudine. The Rev. Robert Morris officiated in a morning ceremony in St. Thomas Church. Francis Beaudine was his brother's best man.

SALEM, S. C. - Milton "Milt" Joseph Beaudine, 84, husband of Marie Ladic Beaudine, of 14 Bowsprit Lane, passed away Wednesday, May 3, at Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 20, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Walhalla, S. C. A celebration of Mr. Beaudine's life will be held after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home, 4605 Belton Highway, Anderson, SC 29621 or to a charity of one's choice. The family is at the home. A native of New York City, Mr. Beaudine was the son of the late Milton Joseph and Marie Conway Beaudine. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in the Korean War, and later retired as a general superintendent from Monsanto Chemical Company after 24 years. Mr. Beaudine served as a lector at St. Francis Catholic Church. He served as a CCD teacher and was class secretary for more than 50 years for the Class of 1954 at the University of Notre Dame. He was a devoted family man and enjoyed coaching his children's sports teams when they were growing up. In addition to his wife, Mr. Beaudine is survived by his sons, Robert, Michael and Patrick Beaudine, daughter, Katherine Chrisawn, and five grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Beaudine was preceded in death by his brothers, Bob and Frank Beaudine. Davenport Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
