Notes for: Franklin ("Frank") Marion Stephenson

Frank was born after the family arrived in Texas and it is reasonably certain that he was born in the Hamilton area of Shelby County. The Family did not appear on the 1860 Census of Texas, but did own property in Shelby County. His father, mother, and three children born before 1850. They are found on the Lowndes County Census of 1850. Other than the Shelby County Census of 1870, no other records are known to exist of the family as a group. Mary Amanda was known to have lived with relatives in Neuville after James' death.
