Subject: John Gunnels and son

I am writing because I think you have listed the wrong James J. Gunnels as the son of John Gunnels. It seems folks have mixed up the James J. Gunnels lines. Are you aware that at the same time as James J. Gunnels who married Samantha Hill lived in Overton Co TN that there was one living in GA? You can locate this info via ancestry.com census info. I think that John's son was the James J. Gunnels who was in GA and not the one who was in TN.

The James J. Gunnels of Overton County TN has info on his line in the book done by Pickett County Historical Society. I think the folks who did the Gunnels line in the Pickett County Books were mostly accurate in their research.
