Notes for: Herman T. Vanderwaal

Herman was in WW I as of December 1918. That is in the announcement of his brother Albert's death.

His tombstone does confirm that. It says he was a sargeant in Battery F of the 83rd Field Artillery. His name on the tombstone is HERMAN T VANDERWAAL.
