Arnold C. Frost, 83, of Thorn Hill Rd., died Tuesday, July 15, 1997 at his home. He was predeceased by a son, Milton Frost. He is survived by his wife, Muriel Frost, Nineveh; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Bill Frost, Binghampton, George and Darlene Frost, Harpursville, and Arnold Frost, Jr., Whitney Point; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Dorothy and Anthony House, Binghampton, Jean and Fred Garrehy, Windsor, and Mary Ronk, Harpursville; 22 grandchildren; 50 great grandchilden; one sister, Marion Baxter, Whitney Point; one brother and sister-in-law, Hilton and Joyce Frost, Ithaca; also several nieces and nephews. He was an area farmer and logger throughout his life; he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a member of Windsor American Legion, Post 571. Funeral and committal services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Fischer-Scholder Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Chenango Street with Rev. William Fowler, Pastor of Bethel Chapel officiating. Private burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Harpursville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Muriel Jane Frost, 82, of Nineveh, passed away Monday, April 10, 2000 at Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center. She was predeceased by her husband, Arnold; and son, Milton. She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Dorothy and Anthony House, Binghampton, Mazie Jean and Fred Garrehy, Windsor, and Mary Jane Frost, Nineveh; three brothers and one sister-in-law, William Frost, Nineveh, George and Darlene Frost, Harpursville, and Arnold Frost, Jr., Whitney Point; 22 grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren. She was a retired employee of Dunn-McCarthy Shoe Manufacturing Co. Funeral and committal services will be held Thursday, at 1 p.m., at the Fischer-Scholder Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Chenango St., with the Rev. Douglas Horne, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday, from 11 a.m. until time of service. Those wishing may contribute to Harpursville Volunteer Emergency Squad, Harpursville, N.Y. 13787.
