From Elmira (NY) Star-Gazette of 18 Dec 1925:
Sayre, Dec. 18.---Leo Bradshaw, known hereabouts as Leo Bodine, a graduate of the Elmira Reformatory, was arrested by Chief of Police Ray Nobles and Officer Harold Davis last night on the charge of assault and battery preferred by Myrtle Bodine. He was picked up by the officers on South River street, and following his hearing today was discharged. Miss Bodine exhibited bruises on her knee and leg to Justice of the Peace George D. Bonfoey and Chief Nobles yesterday afternoon when she and her mother came to swear out the warrant for Bodlne's arrest. She said that he had beaten her severely Wednesday, and that he had done so several times lately. Bradshaw was adopted by the girl's mother when he was eight months old, and has taken the name of Bodine ever since.

Leo Bodine of Sayre was fined $100, sentenced to six months in jail, and to pay the costs of the case on the charge of assault. Bodine is accused of assaulting his mother some time ago.
