Redding--James Roy Bodine, 6, was killed last night when the small house his father was building collapsed on him. Ira Bodine, the boy's father, reported he was putting the finishing touches on the house when a gust of wind toppled it. Both he and the boy were pinned under the wreckage. The boy was pronounced dead of a fractured skull on arrival at a Redding hospital. The accident occurred on Bodine's mining claim near Shasta.
