Obituary, Hudson (Mich.) Post of 3 Aug 1915.
Lavere Bordine, son of Mr. & Mrs. Chas. Bordine of Fairport, 17, drowned last Friday in Haley Lake, 5 miles East and 1 mile South of Hudson. He tired while swimming across the lake. He is survived by his parenys Mr. and Mrs. Chas Bordine, brother, Ellsworth, 3, and 2 sisters, Arline and Alice, 6 years old and 8 months old.

LaVere W. Bordine, son of Chas. N. Bordine & Hattie Finn, born 15 May 1899 in Michigan, died by accidental drowning in a lake on 30 July 1915 in Hudson Twp., Lenawee County and was buried in North Dover Cemetery. Informant was Chas. Bordine of Clayton, Michigan.
