Mrs. Virginia Faye Smith, 37, of 7404 Moses Rd., died Monday night in a local hospital. She is survived by her husband Tommy J. Smith, Hixson, Tenn.; three daughters, Mrs. Roma Hope, Mentone, Ala.; Mrs. Tommie Sue Thurman, Hixson, Tenn.; Miss Renee Smith, Hixson, Tenn.; one son, Tim Smith, Hixson, Tenn.; mother, Mrs. Bertha Bodine, Hixson; one sister, Mrs. Janey Sherrill, Hixson; one brother, George Bodine, Red Bank, Tenn. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the North Chapel of the Chattanooga Funeral Home with Dr. Willard A. Peak officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The body is at the Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel, Highway 153.
