Miss. Linda Marie Light and Ralph E. Bodine were married at 8 p.m. yesterday in the Episcopal Church, Palm Springs, Calif. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Light and the bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Clara Bodine and A. W. Bodine. [Note: Ralph & Linda were divorced and in June 1977 in Maricopa County, Linda Marie Bodine married John Kondora.]

No. PB2001-001992: Linda Marie Kondora died on March 28, 1995. Decedent was a resident of Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona at her death. John Kondora is the surviving spouse of the Decedent. Kevin D. Bodine, Lisa M. Mercado and Carrie Ann Ybarra are the surviving children of the Decedent by a prior marriage. Per the appended Certificate of Death, State of Arizona, Linda Marie Kondora was the daughter of William H. Light and Beulah Landman. She was cremated.

The obituary of Louise J. Hunsicker, 88, widow of Kenneth Hunsicker, names among her survivors a daughter, Charlene Bodine of Scottsdale, Arizona. [Note: Maricopa County, Arizona land records show Ralph E. and Charlene Bodine as husband and wife on 26 Nov 1975 and in July 1979, but in a deed of 29 Oct 1985 she is Charlene Bodine, an unmarried woman, jointly purchasing property with Louise Hunsicker.)

Ralph E Bodine was born in Phoenix, Arizona and lived in the United States of America until 1992. During that time he graduated from Princeton University with a bachelor's degree in economics (1966), and played a leadership role in many of the largest fruit growers' organizations of the United States. Bodine served as Chairman of Western Growers Association, the Fruit Growers Supply Company, and Sunkist Growers, Inc. and in 1990 was appointed Chair of the President's Council on Rural America, by President Bush. He is former chairman of the board of Sunkist. In 1992 Ralph and his wife Linda immigrated to Canada and are now active members of the Saanich Peninsula. Today Ralph is a member of the Royal B.C. Museum's board of directors, involved in the University of Victoria Foundation and is committed to the boards of a number of new start-up companies. Ralph and Linda are extremely involved in the North Saanich Community where they reside with their three children enjoying their avocation: thoroughbred horse breeding and racing.

BODINE, Ralph E. October 01, 1942 - March 07, 2016 Ralph passed away peacefully, at home, on March 7, 2016 in Central Saanich. BC. Ralph was surrounded by, his loving wife, Linda S. Bodine and his six children. He was 73. Ralph was born at St Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. He was a graduate of Princeton University and held the positions of Chairman of the Board of Sunkist and Western Growers Association. He was also involved with numerous other boards. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Linda, of 35 years, his children, Kevin (Heli), Lisa (Favian), Carrie (Kyle), Sarah, Amy and Arthur; his loving grandchildren, sister, Sue Ross and step-mother, Helen Bodine. Ralph was loved by many and will be greatly missed. A celebration of life will be held July 9, 2016 at the family farm in Central Saanich.
