Anne M. Bodine Oristaglio, 81, of the Havertown section of Haverford Township, died Nov. 14 as a result of injuries suffered in a fall Nov. 11. She never regained consciousness after undergoing emergency surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia on Nov. 12. Mrs. Oristaglio lived in Havertown for more than 40 years. She and her husband would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in October 2004. Survivors: Husband of 59 years, Salvatore A. Oristaglio daughters, Rita A. Smith of the Drexel Hill section of Upper Darby, Susan A. Herpel of Mountainsville, N.Y., Patricia A. Civale of Yardville, N.J., Donna O. Hannum of Haddfield, Pa. 10 grandchildren seven great-grandchildren nieces nephews. Mass: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sacred Heart Church in the Manoa section of Haverford Township. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Robert L. D'Anjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike, Marple. Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Marple. Salvatore A. Oristaglio BROOMALL, PA - Salvatore A. "Sal" Oristaglio died peacefully on Tuesday, May 24, surrounded by loved ones. His family deeply mourns his passing, especially his four daughters, and their spouses, Rita Smith, Susan and Ed Herpel, Patricia and Vincent Civale, and Donna and George Ha Hannum; his sister, Dolores Karl; his nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and so many others. His generosity of spirit and zest for life made him a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Sal created beautiful carpentry, could fix anything and was endlessly available to listen. His dear wife, Anne, predeceased him as did his siblings, Marie, Josephine, Ercole, Dan, Rita, and Bob. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the D'Anjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008. Funeral Mass is at 10 a.m. in St. Pius X Church. Interment is in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Oncology Dept., Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia, 34th and Civic Center Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19104 would be appreciated.
