STEPHENS, JOAN CLAUDETTE 71, of Norco & formerly of Riverside, passed away from congestive heart failure on 9/17/04. She died at home surrounded by her family. She was born on 7/9/33 in St. Louis, MO. Joan worked as a private duty nurse & child care provider until 1995. Joan was an adult member of the International Order of Rainbow for Girls & served as Grand Deputy. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. Joan is survived by her daughters, Sharon, Marilyn & Pamela; son, John Thomas; caregivers, Ed & granddaughter Lisa; along with 7 other grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Internment is Friday 10/1/04 at 3pm, Crestlawn Memorial Park, 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, in the Faith Urn Garden space #100. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Assoc. or the Breast Cancer Foundation.
