Dear David,
Hello. While searching the internet trying to find some more information on the Christopher EDRINGTON who married Sarah JENNINGS, I happened across your website and noticed that you don't have a last name for the Christopher EDRINGTON, Jr. who married Mary ?. This Mary I show in my information as Mary LOVEL(L.) Christopher EDRINGTON, Jr. was the son, as you know, of Christopher EDRINGTON, Sr., (2nd husband,) and his wife, who was Mrs. Margaret PAYNE JENNINGS, (my paternal 8th great grandmother,) who married as her 1st husband, John JENNINGS, Sr., immigrant, and they lived in Old Rappahannock County, Virginia. Margaret PAYNE was the daughter of Margaret ROBINSON, (daughter of Anne MOORE and Richard ROBINSON who was an early 1600s immigrant to the Tidewater of Virginia and was the uncle of Christopher ROBINSON of Hedgewick,) and Margaret ROBINSON's husband, John PAYNE.
This also from Bill Cheatham:
CHRISTOPHER EDRINGTON (II), son of Christopher Edrington & Mrs. Margaret Jennings, b. c.1672 Sittingbourne Parish, Rappahannock Co. Va., d. c.1738 Hanover Parish, King George Co. Va., m. Mary (Payton or Jett)?, b. c.1680, d. c.1756 Hanover Parish, King George Co.

Bellinda later clarified the information above after looking at it again and getting some new information. She said that Mary Jett was actually the wife of Christopher Edrington, Jr. She was born 1679 and died Feb. 5, 1756. Mary was the daughter of Elizabeth Hoskins (b. 1643 in Accomack Co., VA) and Elizabeth's second husband William Jett (b. abt 1655 in England). Elizabeth's first husband was Cornelius Wood. Mary Jett married _____ Payton first and then Christopher Edrington, Jr. Their son was Christopher Edrington, III. It was Christopher Edrington, III who married Mary Lovell. She was born in 1699 or about 1710 in Westmoreland Co., VA. They were married in 1730. She died before July 18, 1741 in Westmoreland County. Mary Lovell was the daughter of Robert Lovell (b. abt. 1680, d. 1725) and Ursula Nicholas. Mary Lovell first married Andrew Harrison.
