Raymond Neil Bodine enlisted 14 June 1917 in Cleveland, Ohio in the U.S. Navy. Upon his discharge on 17 Dec 1918 he was appointed Ensign in the U.S. Naval Reserve and honorably discharged on 9 Feb 1921.

Asserting that her husband deserted her after less than a month of married life, Edna M. Bodine, 217 North Fourth street, through her attorney, A Edward Coleman, filed for libel in divorce against Raymond Bodine, whose present address is unknown. The Bodines were married on June 6, 1923, and the desertion is alleged to have taken place on July 3, 1923.

On 23 Sept 1926 in Bethlehem, Lehigh Co., PA, Edna M. Schulze, dau. of Henry F. & Meta (Vogel) Schulze, married Reed E. Depp. They lived 1930 in Washington, Stark County, Ohio. On 25 April 1942, Reed Ervin Deppe of Alliance, Ohio, registered for the World War II Draft and named Mrs. Edna Deppe of Alliance as his next of kin.

Edna M. Deppe was born 12 Sept 1903 and died Aug 1990.
There is no record of her death in Ohio. She may have died on a trip to Hawaii.

In 1942, Raymond Neil Bodine, of Fairview, NJ, registered for the World War II draft. He reported he was born 7 Sept 1895 in Columbus, OH, worked for Armour & Co. of NYC, and Mrs. Florence Bodine was his next of kin.
The January 1993 obituary of her son Raymond stated he was the dear son of Florence Wilkins.
