Hi Dave...
My father James David Bodine still lives in the same house and farms the same land as my great grandfather Harvey Isaac Bodine did. Me and my brother lived there our whole lives. The house has tons of Bodine history that i would love to tell you about. We have lots of old pictures in my great-grandfather time, some people we still haven't been able to figure out. As soon as I can get the pictures together I will try to send them to you. Maybe you could help us figure out who these people are. My great-aunt Ann Christine Hill (everyone calls her Chrissie) would love to know about these people. I will keep in contact with you. I hope this information clears some things up. I hope to hear from you soon.

Harvey I. "Dick" Bodine, 87, Rt. 1, Mackville, died at 11:30 p.m. Monday at his home. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Mount Zion United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, the former Artie Grigsby; a daughter, Mrs. Frank Hill Jr. of Rt. 1, Mackville; a son, Joe H. Bodine of Rt. 1, Mackville; three grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Houghlin Main Street Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with burial in Mount Zion Cemetery in Washington County.

Beloved mother of Mrs. Frank (Christine) Hill Jr., Mr. Joe H. Bodine, both of Route 1, Mackville, also survived by 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Mrs. Bodine is at the Houghlin Funeral Home, Main St., Bloomfield, KY, where funeral service will be held Sun., Dec. 23rd, at 2:30 p.m. with interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Washington Co. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Mt. Zion Cemetery Fund.
