Einar R. Bodine, 43, of Battle Ground, Clark County, ship fitter, born in Woodboro, Wisconsin, son of Peter Wm. & Martha (Holmberg) Bodine AND Bertha L. Jackson, 34 of Battle Ground, born in Garden Grove, Iowa, dau. of W. M. & Azora (Lee) Jackson, 1st marriage for the groom, 2nd for the bride, were married at Kalama on 3 July 1943 by Clark Cottrell, Minister.

Bertha was 1st married in 1926 in Wibaux, Wibaux Co., Montana to James E. Cass and in 1933 in Wibaux to Paul H. Madzo.

Einar Bodine was buried in Longview Memorial Park and Mausoleum, Longview, Cowlitz County, Washington.

Bertha Louella Strohmeyer March 25, 1909---July 27, 1988
SHAW---Bertha Louella Strohmeyer, 79, died Wednesday in Shaw. She was born in Garden Grove, Iowa. She was a homemaker and came here eight years ago from Antioch, Calif. She married Everett Strohmeyer Nov. 16, 1962 in Tulia, Texas. Survivors include her husband; daughter, Clara Anagnostou of Sacramento, Calif., Irene Solomon of Weiner, Ark., Gloria Williams of Albany; brothers, Harold Flory of Turner and Gus Flory of Stella, Mo.; and sisters, Mabel Thomassen of Columbia Falls, Mont., and Elenora Butts of Aumsville. Services will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday in Weddle mortuary, Stayton, with interment in Lone Oak Cemetery, Stayton. [Note: Bertha's mother married William Marion Jackson in 1902 and Charles Emmett Flory in 1916.]
