Lee O. Bodine, of Akron, mechanic, aged 25 on 7 Jan 1949, born in Akron, son of Verne H. Bodine & Alice Tharpe AND Drucilla J. Phillips, of Akron, office worked, aged 20 on 15 Aug 1948, born in Akron, daughter of Daniel D. Phillips & Arlene Price, were married 19 Feb 1949 by Clarkson J. Mayhew, Minister.

Lee O. Bodine, 57, died Feb. 8 at Akron City Hospital. He was born in Akron, and was a life resident of the area. He was employed with the Admiral Equipment Co. for 20 years, taking a disability retirement in August of 1980. He was formerly employed with the GI Cab. Mr. Bodine was a member of the Amos H. Englebeck Lodge No. 751 F&AM, the Goodyear Scout Troop, an Eagle scout, charter member of the Airscouts, and a navy veteran of World War II. Preceded in death by parents, Verne and Alice Bodine; he is survived by wife, Jeanne; daughters, Mrs. Dale (Nancy) Cochoy of Akron, Mrs. Dan (Patricia) Colopy of Akron; and grandson, Jarrod Cochoy. Funeral services tonight, 8 p.m., at the Hopkins Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd., Akron, Dr. Charles Billington officiating. Burial Matamoras Cemetery, New Maramoras, Ohio, where graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Friends may call at the funeral home, 3 to 8 p.m. today. The family suggests memorials to the AkronBaptist Temple Building Fund, 2324 Manchester Rd., Akron 44314.
