WEATHERFORD - Ona Berdine, a homemaker, died Tuesday at a nursing home. She was 96. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel in Weatherford. Burial will be in East Greenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Berdine was born in Antelope and lived in Weatherford for 52 years. She was a member of South Main Street Church of Christ and was the widow of Ed Berdine. Survivors: Four daughters, all of Weatherford, Inez Yeary, Valdine Berdine, Oleta Pickett and Zona Browder; two sons, both of Weatherford, T.E. "Bo" Berdine and E.H. Berdine; sister, Texola Howard of Midland; brother, Quannah Maxey of Post; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.
