I had his middle name as Calvin. William Callaway Bodine is the name he signed on his WW1 draft registration.

William Callaway Burdine registered for the World War I draft on 12 Sept 1918 in Houston, Texas. He stated he was a salesman for C. H. Ortle and his closest relative was his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Chandler, of Sevierville, Tenn. In 1920, he was living in Austin, Travis County, Texas, single and employed as a traveling salesman for a furniture company.
