BURDINE, CONLEY RAY---age 45, of Route 1, Rockford, passed away Thursday in Houston, Texas. Member of Stock Creek Baptist Church. Employee of Alcoa Aluminum Co. Former mayor of Rockford. Member of Steel Workers Local No. 309. Survivors: wife, Mrs. Rebecca Thomas Burdine; son, Thomas Ray Burdine; daughters, Elaine and Sherry Burdine; parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Burdine Sr.; brothers, W. T. Burdine Jr., Ralph Burdine; sisters, Margaret Galyon, Bonnie Bundon, Virginia Bailey, Louvenia Helton, Gail Cupp. Graveside service 11 a.m. Monday, Stock Creek Cemetery. Dr. Steve Jett officiating. Pallbearers will be nephews. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Berry Funeral Home.
