On 5 June 1917, Edward Marshall Bodine registered for the World War 1 draft in Floyd County, Indiana. He reported his birth as 17 June 1888 in Louisville, Kentucky, that he was single and worked as a laborer. He registered for the World War II draft in 1942 and reported the same information, but that his next of kin was his wife Lillian Bodine.
