Lowell Jones, age 87, of Alta, died on Friday, July 13, 2007, at Buena Vista Manor in Storm Lake following a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 16, 2007, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Alta, with Pastor D. Duane Olson officiating. Burial was at Woodlawn Cemetery with military rites by Alta VFW Post 6172. Barker Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
