Richard S. Bodine, 43, midtown Kansas City, died May 18, 1990, at the home. He was born in Norman, Okla., and lived in this area for 12 years. Mr. Bodine was a manager in the chemical development department at Marion Merrill Dow Inc. He was a member of the American Chemical Society. He was an Episcopalian. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Philip Bodine, and a brother, Alan Bodine, all of Stillwater, Okla. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Newcomer's Stine & McClure Chapel; cremation. The family requests no flowers and suggests contributions to the American Foundation for AIDS Research, P.O. Box 96635, Washington, D.C. 20077-7095.
