David Carpenter Bodine, 58, of 311 Nostrand Avenue, died 7 May 1908 in Brooklyn, Kings County. Single, born in NYC, sonof Isaab Bodine & Tamar Dobbs, buried in Nemberg, New York.

David Carpenter Bodine, who died Thursday of cirrhosis of the liver, at his residence at 49 Pulaski street, was born in New York City, January 15, 1850 and had lived in this borough for thirty-five years, for a long while in the Nineteenth Ward. He was widely known in the wholesale grocery trade. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Elthea Wise of Harlem and Mrs. Sarah J. Ward of Newburgh. The interment will be at Newburgh.
