A one car accident early Friday morning, May 16, claimed the life of a Warsaw man and critically injured a second. Wyoming County Sheriff's Deputy Robert McElver said Kelly M. Bodine, 18, of Gouinlock St, Warsaw died from injuries sustained in the early morning accident at the intersection of Merchant and Keeney Roads in the Town of Warsaw. [Accident details ommitted.] Funeral services for Mr. Bodine were held Monday, May 19, at 11 a.m. in the Weeks Funeral Home in Warsaw. Burial was in the Warsaw Cemetery. A lifetime area resident Mr. Bodine was employed at the Castile Robeson Appliance Plant. Survivors include: his parents, Stanley and Doris Hughner Bodine, Sr.; seven brothers, Stanley Jr. of Portageville, Barry of Wyoming, Daryle of Adak, Alaska, Robin of Weatogue, Kentucky, Scott and Tracy, both of Warsaw and Jeff of LeRoy; five sisters, Thona Funnell of Painted Post, Doreen Thompson of Warsaw, Maria Popielarczyk, Terri Bodine of Batavia and Stacy Bodine of Warsaw and his maternal grandmother, Blanche Hughner of Naples.
