William H. Berdine, of Newark, a son of William Berdine, formerly of this city, and a nephew of Prosecutor George Berdine, was married to Miss Eva Lewis, of 61 Freeman street, West Orange, on Wednesday night. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Uriah McClinchie, of Irvington. Miss Maude Berdine, a sister of the bridegroom, was bridesmaid.

EAST ORANGE, N.J., April 27.--William Berdine, New York furniture broker, designer and manufacturer, died today at his home here. He was 56 years old. Mr. Berdine was born in New Brunswick, N. J., and was in the furniture business all hi slife. He was vice president and secretary of the L. J. Dorson Company, president of the Reaser Furniture Company of Gettysburg, Pa.; vice president of the Hanover Company of Hanover, Pa., and advisory manager of the Peerless Furniture Company of Shippensburg, Pa. He was a member of the Furniture Club of Philadelphia, the Furniture Club of America and the Sea View Golf Club of Absecon, N. J. Mr. Berdine is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Frederick H. Groel of Newark; a brother, Elmer S. Berdine of Mount Holly, N. J., and four sisters, Mrs. Annie Cunningham of Jersey City, Mrs. Catherine Johnson of East Orange, Mrs. George W. Barnes of Rutherford, N. J., and Mrs. John B. Turner of West Chester, Pa.
