A pretty wedding was that at Christ Episcopal church at high noon today when Miss Maud L. Berdine, daughter of the late Abraham Berdine and Mrs. Cornelia Lefferts Voorhees was married to Alfred Skillman Tindell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Tindell, of Townsend street. The ceremony was performed by Rev. E. B. Joyce, rector of the church and the bride's pastor. The guests numbered over one hundred people. [Rest of article describing the affair not copied.]

On 12 Sept 1917, Alfred Skillman Tindell registered for the World War 1 draft in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He reported he was born 26 Oct 1883, worked as an assistant cashier for Johnson & Johnson, and that Maud Lillian Tindell was his next of kin.
