George Bodine is acknowledged as the son of John Samuel Bodine in his father's 2003 obituary and his sister Rebecca's 2012 obituary. His birth does not appear in Ohio State Birth Records.

Driver found dead in Adams County
An Ohio man died Monday morning after being found unresponsive in the driver's seat of a vehicle in southern Adams County. George A. Bodine, 60, of Cridersville, Ohio, was found in a vehicle in high water on the east side of S. 200 E. just north of Indiana 218, according to a news release. He was transported to Adams Memorial Hospital, where he died at 6:55 a.m. The incident is under investigation by the Adams County coroner's office.

CRIDERSVILLE - George A. Bodine age 60, of Cridersville passed away 6:55 a.m., Monday, May 10, 2021. He was born Jan. 9, 1961 in Lima to the late John Bodine and Phyllis Dean. George had been a mechanic all his life. He loved working on cars and FORD trucks. He had been a driver for B & M Services. George had several siblings: Earl, Jackie, Judy, Claude, Bessie, Bill, Sam and Shannon; stepmom Jean Bodine and stepbrother Jerry and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Merle and sister Becky. The family will receive friends Friday, May 21, 2021 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 7 with a time of sharing lead by Charity Bodine.
